This is a rigging rod I use for the lightest of biters. Light rigging, small crankbaits, and even light jigging too. It's especially good on windy days. The tip of this rod is great for pitching shore line, use 4 to 6 lb test line, but not over 6lb. Also great for 1/16th oz Fireball jigs, tipped with a shiner minnow or half a night crawler.

Line: 4-10lb. Lure: 1/16-3/8 oz.
Price: $129.99
This rod if for light jigging, and has a slightly stiffer tip than my 5'9" rigging rod. It's a good pick on windy days for pure jigging. This rod is good to use with small jigs, poppers, steamer flies, and 1/64th oz. gypsy jigs, or it can just be used with split shot and a piece of a worm or a leech.

This is my ultra-sensitive rigging and jigging rod. A must-have for any angler. Same great qualities as the 5’9" rod,but a little longer and a little lighter tip. You can also can use a 1/16 oz jig with 4 or 6 lb line. This rod is one of my favorite all around rigging rods, and it casts a little further than the 5'9" too.
MWE671RIG 6'7" Spin Rigging & Jigging

Line: 4-12lb. Lure: 1/8-1/2 oz.
Price: $129.99
This is a slightly longer rigging and jigging rod than my 6'3". It gives more control of your bait on calmer days, and lets you get the bait out further from the boat. You can use a bit heavier jig and line with this rod than the shorter rigging rods. It's a good middle of the road rod for both rigging, and jigging.
MWE701JIG 7'0" Spin Rigging & Jigging

Line: 6-12lb. Lure: 1/8-5/8 oz.
Price: $129.99
My #1 rod for deep jigging. I like to use a stand up jig head, with a minnow, leech, or half a crawler. When the fish are lethargic, sometimes its best to hop the jig a couple of times, drag it, let it sit and repeat. Lots of times you’ll get a bite when its just sitting there. Can also be used for light jigging, slip bobbers, and trolling cranks. I also use this rod for casting plastic worms & crankbaits for both bass and walleye. It is great for slip bobber fishing.
MWE721RIG 7'2" Spin Rigging & Jigging

Line: 4-12lb. Lure: 3/16-1/2 oz.
Price: $129.99
This rod is great for Northland® Roach Rigs®, heavier jigs, slip bobbers, and casting cranks over rocks and weeds. When rigging sometimes you need to use a longer snell. If the fish have been pressured, sometimes I use a 6’ or 9’ snell, with a crawler injected with air, so it floats a little higher off the bottom. Sometimes bigger fish suspend and smaller fish stay tight to bottom, where they feel safer. The Roach Rig® is very adjustable for extending your snell, when needed. So if you see them on the sonar go with a longer snell.
MWE761bb 7'6" Spin Bottom Bouncers

Line: 8-15lb. Lure: 5/8-1-1/2 oz.
Price: $129.99
Ultra sensitive for bottom bouncers, trolling, and dead stick fishing. Great for wider boats too. Great all around, all purpose rod, for deep riggin, bottom bouncing, slip bobbering, casting plastics and crankbaits. Its one heck of a rod! Its like the 7’2" rigging rod, but a little longer and with a lighter tip, and some extra backbone right where it's needed. It's also great for snap jigging - it gives you an extra long swing. It also works really well for trolling crankbaits in rod holders. Also has the backbone for the bass fisherman fishing the slop with worms and spinner baits. I recommend 8 to 14 lb test line.

This is the same rod as the 761BB, but with a casting handle for those anglers that want to use a baitcast reel with it. Same qualities, same function.
MWE651LBC 6'5" Casting Light Bouncer

Line: 4-10lb. Lure: 1/8-3/8 oz.
Price: $129.99
This new rod is a shorter version of my 7'6" bouncer rod, but with a much lighter action and tip for using smaller bottom bouncers. It works for small crankbaits, plastics, and spinners too! This rod is so versitile, my wife Beverly caught a 48" Muskie on it up in Minaki!
MWE651PIKE 6'5" Casting Pike

Line: 15-30lb. Lure: 3/4-1-1/2 oz.
Price: $139.99
I'm not just a walleye fisherman, I also like to fish for pike as well, so I needed a good pike rod! This one is designed for casting crankbaits or spoons, and has the stiff backbone needed to haul in the big ones. The handle is designed for easier grip, and the position of the reel seat is in a better spot, with the correct rear handle length. Use it for Northern Pike or Muskie for the best results.
MWE76BTR 7'6" Spin Bottom Bouncers

Line: 10-25lb. Lure: 3/4-2 oz.
Price: $139.99
This rod is designed purely for casting bucktails! Casting bucktails needs a different tip and action than a traditional pike rod, so I designed this one to cast 3/4-2 oz bucktails. This is a great partner rod to the 6'5" Pike rod above! For the Pike and Muskie enthusiast, you'll be glad you have this rod in your boat - it's a must have for casting bucktails!
MWE74TR 7'4" Cast Telescopic Trolling

Line: 8-20lb. Lure: 3/8-1 oz.
Price: $139.99
Great for heavy bottom bouncers, heavy crankbaits, and dipsy divers. The most versatile bait casting rod, or for people who prefer a longer dead stick rod. Good rod for running bottom bouncers and inline sinkers. I sometimes use a gold or silver light spoon for an attractor, set 3 or 4 feet ahead of a spinner harness. This works great for walleye on the Great Lakes too - just add a nightcrawler to the harness. A longer rod works great for wider boats, and great for longer casts.
MWE86TR 8'6" Cast Telescopic Trolling

Line: 8-17lb. Lure: 3/8-1-1/2 oz.
Price: $139.99
I use this rod with medium boards, diving crankbaits, and weighted spinners from 1 to 3 oz. When I’m trolling shallow or deep crankbaits, I like to add a little piece of night crawler to the hook, just for a little smell. I know guys who have won tournaments with this little tip. When using inline sinkers, use ¾ to 1 oz, 45 to 60 feet in front of the crawler harness for trolling 30 feet of water. I like to use a gold, silver, or copper rainbow spinner harness. I like to use a treble hook on the back of the harness, and make sure you change the crawler every 10 to 15 minutes. Fresh bait is best. Vary the speed ½ to 1 mile per hour, and adjust for temperature: Cold temps slower, warmer water faster.
MWE96SP 9'6" Spin Telescopic Leadcore
Click on the image for Description
Line: 10-20lb. Lure: 1/2-1 oz.
Price: $149.99
I use this rod with 8-12 lb line for long lining, trolling cranks and board fishing, when I want to use a spinning reel. It's also great for lake trout! On long rods storage is critical, most rod lockers are only 8' long, that’s why we use the telescopic rods. Be careful that you don’t jam the rods in. I also put a little label on my reel, to remind me the size line that is on it.
MWE96TR 9'6" Cast Telescopic Leadcore

Line: 10-20lb. Lure: 1/2-1 oz.
Price: $149.99
Nobody has a good leadcore rod, so I designed this for board fishing and straight line lead trolling. It's a high performance version of my base leadcore design! I prefer 18 lb. lead line, and always tie on a 10', 20', or 30’ leader. Tying the leader to the lead line is very important, there is a special way we do it: Strip out 2 inches or so of the lead line, stick the mono in where the lead was, do 2 overhand knots and tighten them up over the lead line. Add a swivel to the bottom of the leader that goes to your bait. This is the very best way I’ve ever used or seen to tie lead to a leader. I learned this from my fishing buddy Todd Frank. You’ll love this one. Get the LEAD out!

Spiral Helix Carbon Fiber™
An advanced carbon fiber blank constructed from two different types of graphite; a high modulus strain wound around a more flexible inner core to provide a powerful base and a softer tip.
Traditional blanks made of high modulus graphite yield a lightweight, but stiff rod. In addition, the higher the modulus of the graphite, the more brittle it becomes. Gary's challenge was to deliver a softer tip that wouldn't yank the bait from the mouth of the fish. In order to accomplish this, the tip needed to have some flexibility that is not found in using a single high modulus strain. By building the blank with two different types of graphite, we can achieve the desired action without compromising on either weight or performance.

Superpro™ rod shafts have noticeable ridges, due to the fact we do not
sand them smooth. This is because during the sanding process of a traditional
rod, the ridges of the graphite wind are sanded down to become ascetically
smooth. This results in an uneven thickness of the graphite, and can lead
to unpredictable results in the finished product. By only smoothing the
edges, we maintain the original integrity of the rod blank, and it's performance
characteristics.

The handles of a Superpro™ spinning rod are a work of art. Integral to
the foregrip of the spinning models is a patented touch pad, which is
actually welded to the blank inside the foregrip.
Touch Pad
The pad is shaped more like a “T”, with the base of the “T” attached firmly
to the rod blank, and the top is exposed for you thumb or forefinger.
This design causes any vibration in the rod to be transmitted, and amplified,
to the pad. The result is you no longer need to try to feel a small cross-section
of the rod shaft itself, but instead the most sensitive part of your thumb
is now receiving the vibration directly. The thumb pad also provides more
surface area for you to contact, which results in a finer feeling of what
is going on at the tip.
Reel Seat
The center portion of the handle is the reel seat locking mechanism. Securing your reel, and keeping it secure is now far easier than in the past. The 1” diameter is far easier to grip and turn than the standard mechanism which requires you thumb and forefinger. The reel seat and locking mechanism both carry the soft-touch coating, so the foot of the reel is firmly locked in place.
Counter-balancing
The
rear of the handle provides the counter-balancing needed on the rod. Many
traditional rods are “tip-heavy”, where the balance point of the rod is
far forward of the foregrip, causing the rod to naturally go tip down
in your hand. In order to keep the balance of the rod level, the length
of the handle, along with the embedded brass ring provide the correct
counter-balance to achieve the proper balance point.
Armrest
The “Armrest” feature on the rear handle is the one feature that's been sought after by anglers, but never been delivered until now. The sculpted rear handle features a concave cross-section that rests comfortably under your forearm without rolling from side to side. You'll notice this benefit quickly, whether you're jigging or cranking.
The composition cork butt cap keeps the weight down while softening the butt end of the rod. No more do you have a sharp, plastic butt cap poking you in the side. The diameter is sized so it will fit in any rod holder, and the density is such so we achieve the best cushioning with the maximum of durability.
Guides
In
selecting guides, we turned to Pacific Bay to provide a leading-edge ring
material for our forward-thinking rods. With the advent of braided, or
“super” lines becoming more widely used, we needed a guide ring that could
withstand the rigors of continual braided use without grooving. Pacific
Bay combines a Titanium Carbide (TiCH) coating with a diamond polished
Zirconia ring.

The Zirconia ring has similar properties to the Silicon Carbide Ring (SIC), but at far less cost and weight. Zirconia offers the ideal surface for applying an incredibly smooth PVD (Physical Vapor Deposit) finish to create one of the most durable and cosmetically appealing guides ever offered to the fishing rod manufacturing industry. The Pacific Bay TiCH PVD coating process provides a super hard, low friction surface that actually becomes a part of the ring material, making it the perfect choice for today's braided lines.
Purpose-Specific
Each Mr Walleye® Superpro™ rod is designed for a specific purpose, and for a particular style of fishing. The rod is the conduit between the angler and the bait. To get the bait to produce the desired effect, the rod must be able to conduct the actions of the angler to the bait to achieve the intended result. For this reason, Gary has developed Rigging rods, Jigging rods, Bottom Bouncer rods, Trolling, and Leadcore rods. The action and power of the rod is where it should be for the type of fishing it is designed to do. Gary's tips on how to use each rod will aid you in selecting the right rod for your application.
Serial Numbered
Because
each Mr Walleye® Superpro™ rod has a lifetime limited warranty, each rod
carries it's own unique serial number. Much in the manner date codes are
used on food, we know exactly when, and in what order each rod was produced,
which batch of components were used, and which technicians did the assembly
and quality control checks. We are serious about our quality, and have
in place the means to track a potential problem back to the source quickly
and efficiently. Better quality control means a better, and more reliable
product for you. We take pride in this fact, and we stand behind each
and every rod we produce.
Superpro™ rods are not just for professional anglers – they are for anyone who wants the best performance and features a rod can offer.
